Ep. 90 - Creating an Apparel Business to Celebrate the Chingona and Spanglish Culture

In this week's episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley sit and chat with the owner of Chingona Inc. A clothing apparel business that was created to celebrate the chingona and spanglish culture. Viridiana felt that there was no brands out there that she could fully relate to, so she created her own. The journey of creating her own brand, started with her wanting to purchase a sticker that said, "Chingona", and when she didn't find one she liked, she created her own.

Her experience with graphic design allowed her to create the sticker she wanted and she was able to upload it online for herself to purchase. Her well thought out designs have been noticed by many people, which allows her to now be her own boss and work for herself and have the freedom to create designs she likes. She created a Loteria game for all the many women out there, so they can feel represented as well.

Like many business owners, she battled some limiting beliefs of not being good enough and shares what she does for herself when she has those thoughts come up.
